aking friends is part of skating.Membership in Babson Skating Club is open to skaters of all ages at any time during the year. Our members range in age from 6 to over 80! Our membership categories are listed in our application form. We offer a New Skater membership for skaters who have never skated with a club.

All members of the Club (plus a parent if a skater is under age 18) must be members of USFSA; fill in the USFSA form for both people. Members of another USFSA club may transfer membership to our Club freely at the beginning of each season (July 1st); but must have a transfer form signed by an officer of their current Club during the season.

The Club membership fee and USFSA membership costs listed in the application must be paid in full with your application (after February 1st, membership fees are reduced to 50% of the stated rates (USFSA and coaching fees are not prorated)). A check for each ice session purchased on a contract full or half season basis must accompany your ice application. Checks covering fees and deposits are payable to Babson Skating Club. College students may purchase a 4-year USFSA membership for $80. You must contract separately with a coach for your lessons during Club ice.

Our ice session is Sunday 4-5pm but is supplemented by the Rink's ice schedule as shown on our Ice Schedule. Members may contract our ice session or buy 10-pass books or pay individually each session.

During the morning and summer, Babson Skating Center offers ice sessions Monday to Friday for dance, moves, and freestyle practice. Email Stephanie DeSimone at Babson Skating Center at sdesimone@babson.edu or call her at (781) 239-6058 for more information.
